The first thing you will notice about our congregation is that adults and youth worship together on our Sunday service.
It is based on our belief that genuine and enduring faith formation is possible when there is constant modeling and learning across different generations through intergenerational friendship. We believe it is a perfect setting for families to come and grow together in faith.
We are currently meeting at the Richland Academy building (11570 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill) which is located at North West of Yonge and Gamble.
Please enter through the red brick building entrance (west wing), as the east wing is used by another church.
Consider coming early to secure your seats.
Service lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes (12:30-1:45 pm)
Our environment is casual and yet focused on experiencing the presence of God.
Refreshment/snack will be served after the service in the cafeteria.
*All adults have weekly house church meetings on Friday.
*Youth meet in their Youth House Churches on Sunday after service. They also meet at each otherโs home every month.
Faith is more caught than taught. One of the greatest warning signs for a church is when it is growing old. We are committed to growing young. And it can only happen when we strategically and systematically plan for transferring faith from one generation to another generation. Research has shown that intergenerational friendship is one of the most crucial elements in retaining the young generations to stay at church. That is why we hold service together with youth, allow youth to serve in teams, and ensure every youth is part of youth house church where there is an adult to follow and a place to belong.
As we are focused on helping unchurched people to find their spiritual home and help them grow, if you are already a Christian, we respectually encourage you to consider other good churches and serve there instead. ๐
